  You are going to pay more here than places like Meijer and Wal-Mart. If they have sales than the prices are okay. If you need a large variety this is not the place. If you want a good deli and bakery, then this is for you. Nice that that have a 7 day a week pharmacy inside and a liquor section that has the variety of most liquor stores. Definitely leaps and bounds ahead of the large chains as far as service goes, if the prices were lower I'd shop here all the time.

  Al's Supermarket is more upscale than Meijers or Kroger, at least they would like you to think so. I don't know if the quality of the food is better but it seems to be pricier. To be honest, I only went there because it was convenient. I asked where their gluten free section was? I was informed that, like Kroger, it was all mixed in with the non-gluten food. However, the food is not labeled so you have to search for the gluten free items. Most, not all, of the gluten free items at Kroger are labeled as such.
